Midgley Snelling accountant celebrates exam success
An accountant at Surrey-based chartered accountants Midgley Snelling is celebrating after qualifying as a Chartered Tax Advisor.
David Ambrose successfully passed four Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) exams over a three year period.
David, who works at the firm’s Weybridge office, began his journey by passing the Awareness and Advisory Individual papers in November 2009.
He passed the Advisory Owner Managed Business in November 2010 and the Application Owner Managed Business in May 2010.
He said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to have finally completed my CTA exams following years of hard work and four gruelling three-hour papers.
“As Chartered Tax Advisor I will be better placed to understand our clients and help them structure their affairs in tax efficient ways.”
James Beecher, a partner at the firm, said: “David has worked very hard to qualify as a Chartered Tax Advisor and we are very proud of his achievements.
“Having David on-board as a fully qualified tax advisor will strengthen our tax department and ensure we continue to improve and develop the services we offer to our clients.”
