New tax partner for Weybridge accountancy firm

A Weybridge chartered accountancy firm has announced the return of a former colleague as a tax partner.

James Clerkin has returned to MGI Midgley Snelling LLP, having previously worked for the firm as a tax manager, before moving on to new challenges.

James started his career after studying history at university and attaining post-graduate diplomas in law and legal practice. He says these qualifications gave him useful transferable skills for life as a Chartered Tax Adviser.

James said he was happy to be re-joining MGI Midgley Snelling LLP and was looking forward to working with everyone again.

He said: “I am delighted to have re-joined MGI Midgley Snelling LLP as the firm’s tax partner.

“I started my tax career in 1999 and over the years I have developed a wide range of mixed tax knowledge across many areas, particularly in relation to non-UK domiciled individuals coming to live in the UK.”

MGI Midgley Snelling LLP is a member of MGI Worldwide, a top 20 international network of independent audit, tax, accounting and consulting firms, which brings together the expertise of some 9,458 professionals in over 455 locations around the world.

Established more than 85 years ago, MGI Midgley Snelling LLP says its approach is to provide the level of service and expertise of a large organisation with the approachability and personal involvement of a mid-sized firm.
