Professionals from the newly-merged Weybridge accountancy firm, MGI Midgley Snelling LLP, have attended the UK and Ireland conference of a major global accounting network.
Seven Partners and staff from MGI Midgley Snelling LLP attended the MGI Worldwide UK and Ireland conference in Windsor.
Four of the team – Partners Sarah Squires and Tony Redknap and accountants Steve Baxter and Chris Morris – were attending the annual conference for the first time, having joined MGI Midgley Snelling LLP in May 2018, following their successful merger.
The seven members of the team, which also included Partners Tracey Wickens, Jonathan Farrow and James Beecher, were able to meet with professionals from other members of the MGI Worldwide network, including members from Europe, Asia and Africa and attend sessions on a range of matters related to the conference theme of Employee Experience.
MGI Midgley Snelling LLP was a founding member of MGI Worldwide, originally Midsnell Group International, in 1947.
Tracey Wickens, a Partner at MGI Midgley Snelling LLP, said: “Our membership of MGI Worldwide means that our clients have access to specialists from more than 150 member firms around the world. This is an invaluable resource for those trading internationally, or overseas firms wishing to invest in the UK.
“It was wonderful to see colleagues from MGI Worldwide firms around the UK and further afield and to be able to discuss some of the latest developments in accountancy, tax and matters relating to the conference theme of Employee Experience.”
