Leading accountants MGI Midgley Snelling LLP have presented a cheque for £1,000 to St Nicholas Primary School in Shepperton – the latest winner of the firm’s Midsnell Activity Fund.
The donation will go towards a new sensory garden at the school, forming part of its OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) programme.
The garden is intended to provide a calm and reflective space for pupils and staff as part of a wider transformation of the school’s outdoor play areas.
The project carries particular significance for the school community, as the garden will be dedicated to a much-loved school governor who sadly passed away last year.

“Supporting projects like this through our Midsnell Activity Fund is something we’re really proud of, and we’re especially honoured to be part of a project that will also serve as a lasting tribute to a governor who meant so much to the school.
“We’re looking forward to following the garden’s progress and seeing it come to life for the whole school community.”
The Midsnell Activity Fund is the firm’s initiative to support local schools and community projects, with a focus on activities that benefit children and young people across the area.
To date, it has donated thousands of pounds to a number of schools and projects in and around Surrey.
