Helping you comply with tax legislation
While completing a self assessment tax return can be challenging, missing HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) deadlines can prove costly, with substantial penalties and interest being charged on late and erroneous payments.
Although HMRC will calculate your tax, unless you have a good knowledge of taxation, it may not be wise to assume the outcome is correct.
At MGI Midgley Snelling LLP, we can complete your tax return quickly and cost-effectively, while minimising your tax liabilities.
We also prepare income and expenditure statements for the self-employed, as well as the income tax computations. In the process, we’ll notify you of the amount and timing of the required payments, giving you as much notice as possible, to maximise the time you have to pay.
If your tax affairs are ever subject to an investigation, we will liaise with HMRC on your behalf, making it our priority to bring the investigation to a satisfactory conclusion.
We offer tax insurance, which, in the event of an enquiry, will help cover the costs.
